On Thursday the Koru Whanau went to The Auckland Zoo.
We were so excited to see the tuatara and the kiwi as we had learned lots about them in class before the trip.
We all did lots of walking and searching for the animals that were trying to hide from us.
We loved the zoo!

What a fun day!! Surely kids have thoroughly enjoyed the trip😁
ReplyDeleteIt was a fantastic day and it fitted in so well with our Inquiry - leadership by protecting pour NZ native animals and birds.

Such an awesome trip for the Koru Whanau to experience - both fun and educational. Thanks to all the teachers and parent helpers for making it possible
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all had a fabulous time on your trip to the Zoo. Tuataras and kiwis are two of my favourite native animals.
