We Went to The Auckland Zoo!

On Thursday the Koru Whanau went to The Auckland Zoo.

We were so excited to see the tuatara and the kiwi as we had learned lots about them in class before the trip.
We all did lots of walking and searching for the animals that were trying to hide from us. 
We loved the zoo!

Pink Shirt Day and Certificates!

On Friday it was Pink Shirt Day. We had lots of children in Room 13 who wore pink shirts or accessories to support the idea of spreading kindness to each other.

We also had a Koru whanau assembly. Both Carlos and Miranda received certificates for all the hard work they've been doing lately. Well done!

Ball Skills

Yesterday Room 13 went outside to work on our ball skills. 

We practised throwing the ball up into the air and catching it. 

We also tried bouncing the ball to our partner. 

We had a lot of fun out in the sunshine!

Maths Games

This week we had a go at playing some Maths games. We had to count, recognise and order numbers and use dice.
